Taurus Season Tarotscopes are here, with a tarot card for each zodiac sign highlighting what your self-care and growth opportunities are from April 19 – May 20, 2021. Read for your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs for the full picture.

Taurus season is a time for us to get grounded and connect to nature and your physical body. It’s statement is “I have”, so with this season, our environment and the things around us that make us feel comfortable and secure take pride of place. Taurus, ruled by Venus, is one of the more sensual signs. Yes, that includes sex, but it’s especially about your senses and pleasure and the way you use them to get present, tune into your wisdom, and enjoy yourself.

This is a time to focus on: feeling good in your body, intuitive movement, cooking and eating food that feels and tastes amazing, taking pleasure in the finer things, time outside, refreshing your home, and making plans for the months ahead.

Slow and steady, Taurus gets a reputation for being stubborn or stuck in their ways, instead think of this month as a time for planning, taking small steps forward, and deciding how you want the next six months ahead to look and feel. Then start making choices in that direction. Taurus shows us that all the details matter and small changes and tweaks build over time to create something lasting and strong.

What’s a Tarotscope?

It’s like a horoscope, but instead of interpreting planetary movements, I pull a card for each zodiac sign and share the themes and questions coming up at this time.

You can read the cards for your Sun, Rising, and Moon signs. If you don’t know your Sun (that’s the sign you’d typically read your horoscope for), Moon, and Rising/Ascendant signs, get your birth time and city, if possible, and plug it in over here.

In case you missed it, you can check out your Aries Season Tarotscope here. Or book an in-depth tarot reading or breathwork session with me.

Here are your cards for Taurus Season:

Aries – 10 of Wands Rx

Taurus Season Tarot for Aries

Now’s a good time to assess all you’ve taken on and why. With someone with as much drive and passion as you, it’s easy to accumulate projects and responsibilities to the point to burnout. Think of Taurus Season as your time of recovery in which you learn how to ask for help, delegate, and detox all the extra stuff that might be weighing you down. Lighten your load to refresh your enthusiasm.

Taurus – 2 of Pentacles Rx

Taurus Season Tarot for Taurus

Adaptability not only requires the ability to take on new information or circumstances and find your flow with them, it’s also about letting old ways go. This is an invitation to discern what’s essential for your life, your work, and the way you feel a sense of play. Finding balance isn’t easy and often doesn’t look like a 50/50 split, but if you’re feeling a sense of overwhelm, it’s time to drop something that’s draining you and lean into the things that are filling you up.

Gemini – Ace of Swords

Taurus Season Tarot for Gemini

This grounded Venusian Taurus season energy is spurring breakthroughs and lightbulb moments in that active mind of yours. Don’t just sit on these ideas, use the intiatory energy of the Ace’s spark to take action. Make plans, write out the way you want it to look, speak it into existence. Use your talent for conceptualizing to put your manifestations into motion.

Cancer – The Moon

Taurus Season Tarot for Cancer

Diving into your undercurrent — your inner fears and subconscious shadows — is no easy feat. Relaxing into uncertainty is possibly even harder, but that’s what The Moon asks of you. Instead of ignoring unsettling thoughts or emotions and avoiding them with a flurry of activity, try letting them wash over you. Like a strong rip current, fighting it is just going to tire you out — the best strategy is to float. Use this embodied Taurean energy to feel into your own rhythms and cycles to tap into your deepest wisdom and stay connected to your center.

Leo – King of Swords Rx

Taurus Season Tarot for Leo

Speak your truth. What part of you feels like it can’t share what’s really on your heart? Align with your vision for the future, your intellect, and your powerful — and original — voice to let yourself be seen and heard. Your impact is greater than you know and what you say (and how you say it) matters. Healing your relationship to being heard is essential to your own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others.

Virgo – 5 of Cups Rx

Taurus Season Tarot for Virgo

Coming out of a period of change and grief. Unexpected losses (and expected ones) can be challenging to move through. We can often get trapped in our own feelings, not seeing the good in anything. Luckily, this season brings opportunities to pivot away from the past and start to see what potential is on the road ahead. Silver linings are starting to make themselves known, it’s your job to shift your focus to them.

Libra – 8 of Wands

Taurus Season Tarot for Libra

This season is all about setting your plans in motion. There’s lots of activated energy in the air, things are moving and happening quickly. Generally an omen of success and positive momentum, this card is fueled by passion, creativity and action. But remember to have a sense of flow and adaptability. The current of these busy and exciting times can be strong, so it’s important to remain centered and flexible with how you handle it all.

Scorpio – Death

Taurus Season Tarot for

Let it go, bb. It’s time for a shedding of the old ways, habits and patterns. You’re stepping into a whole new vibe, it’s the life/death/life cycle at it’s finest. Pay close attention to where fear of change is coming up for you. Where do things feel stuck or sluggish? What issues do you keep re-hashing? Shedding and transforming are a process. Be kind to yourself as you let old ways go, while conscientiously accepting the new. Do some somatic activities specifically intended for release to help you on your way. This card is ruled by Scorpio, so you’ve got this.

Sagittarius – 5 of Swords Rx

Taurus Season Tarot for Sagittarius

It’s time to recalibrate. After something doesn’t go our way, we can fall into regret, shame spiraling, and guilt the hell out of ourselves. This card is reminding you to stop that. Recenter. If apologies are needed from your end, make them. But this is about moving forward making more aligned choices. It marks a turning point where, rather than spend your energy fixating on how bad/unloveable you are, you decide to make a concerted effort to change the way you think about yourself and your choices and how you communicate.

Capricorn – Strength

Taurus Season Tarot for Capricorn

Stepping into heart-centered action is one the hardest things we can do. It requires accepting ourselves as we are and honoring our instincts and truest desires. And this month you’re invited to do just that. What will it take for you to face life’s challenges with hope and eagerness, as opposed to fear and anxiety? (You know, something casual to contemplate.) When you open up to the hardest-to-face aspects of yourself, you can take on anything.

Aquarius – 7 of Pentacles Rx

Taurus Season Tarot for Aquarius

This season might be testing your patience. It might feel like it’s taking longer than you’d prefer for things to come to fruition, that you’re not receiving the payoff you thought you would, or you’re trying to overcompensate by doing more unnecessarily. This is your reminder to trust your timing. You’re exactly where you need to be. And you don’t need to be proving your worth by overworking for the sake of appearances. Use this time to review your plans and learn to trust yourself. Wait for the next step to come to you.

Pisces – 2 of Cups

Taurus Season Tarot for Pisces

Showing up for yourself — how do you do it? When does it feel hard? What parts of you feel especially unlovable? What would showing yourself more kindness look like? Asking yourself these questions will help you get clear on where and when you abandon yourself and how you can start to show up more. We do this inner work so we can show up for our other relationships more fully. Learning how to be there for yourself will have a ripple effect on everything else in your life.
