Virgo Season Tarotscopes

Virgo Season Tarotscopes are here, with a tarot card for each zodiac sign highlighting what your self-care and growth opportunities are from August 22-September 22, 2020. Read for your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs for the full picture.

Virgo Season is a time for analyzing, planning, getting organized, and reconsidering your health from all angles. Virgo is that quintessential back-to-school energy blended with a healing aura that can make intention-setting a spiritual experience. It’s stone cold practical with a transformational magic working below the surface. I can already feel the potential.

What’s a Tarotscope?

It’s like a horoscope, but instead of interpreting planetary movements, I pull a card for each zodiac sign and share the themes and questions coming up at this time. I read tarot with an emphasis on self-care and self-development, so I suggest practices or activities that I think might be beneficial to you based on the card.

You can read the cards for your Sun, Rising, and Moon signs — in fact, I recommend it. If you don’t know your Sun (that’s the sign you’d typically read your horoscope for), Moon, and/or Rising/Ascendant signs, get your birth time and city, if possible, and plug it in over here.

In case you missed it, you can check out your Leo Season Tarotscope hereOr book an in-depth reading with Leah.

Here are your cards for Virgo Season:

Aries – 9 of Wands Rx

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Aries

It’s time to reassess your relationship to self-care amid chaos. What do you need to keep going? Do you know what helps you catch your breath? Feeling overwhelmed regularly is a sign that burnout is near. While your innate fiery nature can keep you charging ahead longer than most, you need to find a balance through rest and restorative activities. It’s vital for rebalancing your nervous system to top up our reserves. This might be a time when you completely change things up, upgrade your routines, or discover a new tool or practice that makes a big difference. Keep an open mind and remember your priority here: Your wellbeing. Without it you won’t be able to accomplish all you want to.

Taurus – 8 of Swords Rx

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Taurus

Realize your power in this situation. There’s plenty of stuff that’s outside of our control, but right now, it’s important to discern what you do have control over and focus your attention on that. You hold the power to change your perspective and to take a step forward that you’ve been afraid to take. You can get yourself unstuck from a situation, although it might be in a different way than you initially thought. You have the power to look at your fears directly and work with and through them, rather than letting them stop you. Take a few deep belly breaths and trust yourself. You’ve got this.

Gemini – Ace of Swords

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Gemini

Brilliant ideas and breakthroughs are your strong suit, Gemini, but pay attention to inner truths and opportunities that challenge the way you work with your thoughts and the way you communicate. This is an invitation to make the mind work for you rather than dictating your every move (we are more than our mind, after all). Maybe it’s practicing an element of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when you notice anxiety spike, or speaking to yourself in a way that’s less judgemental. Whatever presents itself, put it into practice regularly. The mind can be changed, but we have to practice new ways of thinking repeatedly before they flow naturally. Think of it as a learning experience in which you’re sharpening your mind for the better.

Cancer – Temperance

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Cancer

It’s a new day. What changes do you feel like you’re stepping into? If you’re not sure yet, clarity is on its way. In this card, we’re able to alchemize our pain into strength by learning to let go of what you can’t control and asking for guidance — from spirit, your highest self, God/Goddess, nature, whoever. Spirituality is the key to finding balance in your body, mind, and spirit. I’m guessing if you’re reading a tarotscope, you’re open to something bigger than you — nurture that part of you in whatever ways feel right. Don’t be afraid to embrace parts of yourself that feel at odds. Your contradictions are where your magic lies. Accept your experience, reflect on what you’ve learned from it, and take it in a new direction.

Leo – Queen of Pentacles

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Leo

I know you’re bummed that your season is over, but this nurturing card is here for you. Channel your inner Earth Mama this month, by grounding yourself with the five senses to touch into your intuition. By tuning into what your body is experiencing, you get out of your head and start to activate and listen to the innate wisdom that exists within your body. This self-care queen knows that you can’t help others until you help yourself, so take some time to get clear on what practices really work for you. Ditch the ones that only look good in a photo or what whatshername does. Come back to your senses and let your gut instincts guide you. Connecting with nature is a great way to start to embody this queen.

Virgo – King of Wands

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Virgo

Happy birthday, Virgo! You’ve got the vision, the creativity, the drive, and the skills to bring something big together. This month is all about stepping into your highest, most creative self. Let your passions be fuel for your fire as you use your natural skills of discernment, analyzing and organization to manifest your ideas into real things out in the world. This energy will bring opportunities for you to seize and make the most of. You have the ability to inspire and motivate others with this kind of enthusiasm and pragmatic sensibility, so get out there and do it. If ever you feel overwhelmed with the responsibility of it all, remember simple tools like meditation and breathwork to bring you back to center.

Libra – Queen of Cups Rx

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Libra

Your intuition is calling to you. But you have to make the space and time to chat. Queens represent the water element and so do the cups, so this queen is doubly about emotions, feelings, love, intuition, and mysticism. When the Queen of Cups arrives upside down like this, it’s usually a sign that your intuitive messages have been lightly tapping on your shoulder but you haven’t noticed. Perhaps you’re afraid of what might happen if you investigate your sensitivities or feelings further. Your empathy is your strength, it’s time to open up to the depths of it more. Consider picking up an intuitive tool like the tarot or learning about the Akashic Records or self-reiki.

Scorpio – Wheel of Fortune Rx

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Scorpio

Let’s be honest, the world can feel like one big dumpster fire at times. But we all know it’s not that binary. How do you want to feel when life throws you a curveball? On the Wheel of Fortune, things are a lot less chaotic at the center of the wheel than they are rolling along on the outside. If you can come back to your center, who you are at your core, you can become an active participant in your life, rather than feeling controlled by the whims of fate. This card could mean big turns in life or good luck, but both of those are made better by being grounded in who you are and what you value. What makes you feel calm? What’s the perspective you want to choose? How can you set yourself up to feel peaceful, despite all the outside noise?

Sagittarius – Strength

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Sagittarius

The word courage comes from the French word for heart – coeur (or cor in Latin, if you want to go there). Our strength is generated from aligning our actions with what we know to be true for us in our hearts. What parts of yourself feel wild and scary? What would it look like to embrace those aspects of yourself? Making peace with your big emotions and desires is incredibly healing and magnetic. To fully accept ourselves — even our feral parts — is to truly live from our heart. It’s scary and it takes a courageous strength to do so with tenderness, but this card is here to tell you that now is the time. Where is your heart leading you?

Capricorn – The Moon Rx

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Capricorn

Oooh Capricorn, the Moon wants you to release control — something I know you don’t want to hear right now. But this is more of an inside job. The Moon is about releasing control of your inner world and emotions and diving to the depths of your subconscious to examine what’s been hiding there. It can be an overwhelming ask that we often resist because we’re afraid of reliving past hurt and not being able to find our way back. But this is where we have the opportunity to find our inner truth and healing. Your spirit is your homebase and you can’t lose that no matter how much you let go and surrender. In fact, that’s when you’ll feel your spirit the most. When strong emotions arise, your challenge is to sit with them for two full minutes and not push them away. Focus on getting more sleep and keeping the first 10-15 minutes after waking sacred and quiet — with no phone.

Aquarius – King of Cups

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Aquarius

You’re being asked to step into your most emotionally mature self. This doesn’t mean denying or controlling emotions, but rather feeling deeply, processing those emotions, and letting go of them, ultimately creating a safe space for yourself and others. By fully riding your emotional waves, nothing gets stuck and you’re able to flow with life. This card suggests a great potential for staying centered amid chaos and perhaps stepping up as an empathetic leader. You have the potential to heal others by doing your own healing and radiating a solid, reliable presence as a result. Lean into it.

Pisces – Page of Swords Rx

Virgo Season Tarotscope for Pisces

You’re allowed to be idealistic even now, don’t let doubts and judgements cloud your vision. Trust your enthusiasm, curiosity, and your willingness to be a perpetual student. Now is a time for learning, trying things out, and keeping your mental health in balance. Remember the tools you’ve already learned that help and try out a couple more. And for the love of Goddess, stop worrying about what others are thinking about what you’re doing. This is a hard habit to drop, but there’s nothing for you in that line of thinking — only fear and inaction. Focus on your growth, expansion, and forward motion.

I don't understand tarot that much, in this post are we only supposed to read the card that corresponds to our Zodiac sign?

Yup! You can read it for your sun sign (what you'd normally read a horoscope for) and for you rising/ascendant and moon signs too, if you know those. There's a link in the intro to figure those out if you don't know them.
